Expect to see more troopers on Interstate 70 in six states this weekend
The 6-State Trooper Project begins tonight at midnight and continues until 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
The enforcement initiative is an effort to reduce unsafe driving behaviors along the I-70 corridor.
Participating state police agencies include those in:
- Ohio
- Pennsylvania
- Indiana
- Kentucky
- West Virginia
- Michigan
The focus of the troopers in these states will include speed, safety belt and OVI enforcement.
