'Super move' from Portsmouth to Nashua, NH begins tonight

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation has alerted motorists to expect delays as a so called "super move" travels on state highways beginning tonight.

NHDOT said Ryco heavy Haul of Middleborough, Massachusetts will transport massive equipment from Portsmouth to Nashua!.The load involves a 129-foot-long, 20-foot-tall storage tank traveling over several nights.

The move begins tonight at 9 p.m., weather permitting.

NHDOT said to expect rolling roadblocks and temporary road closures, which may delay travel for up to 30 minutes or more.

Routes being followed include: NH 33, NH 101, NH 125, and NH 111.

NHDOT said work ends each morning before the commute and resumes nightly around 8 p.m.

Traffic control includes NH State Police and yellow light escorts. Travelers are urged to use alternate routes during the move, according to NHDOT.
