Next Generation In Trucking announced its first Student of the Month Award, which celebrates outstanding students who show dedication and perseverance in their journey toward a trucking career, has been given to Drew, an 18-year-old from Parke Heritage High School in Rockville, Indiana.

NGIT said Drew has already secured a $75,000 job offer with a national trucking company based in Kentucky.. NGIT said the company noticed him on Facebook during the National Truck Driving Championships, researched him, and reached out through their Indiana network.

The Career Catalyst Award honors companies that create exceptional pathways for young people entering the trucking industry, whether as technicians, drivers, or office professionals.
