
The New Jersey State Police have arrested Fnu Attiq Ur-Rahman, 22, and Haffez Rehman Ur, 35, both from Stockton, California, after troopers seized more than $36 million worth of marijuana, cannabis/THC products, and psilocybin products during a motor vehicle stop in the western part of the state.
On Tuesday, Feb. 18, the Mobile Safe Freight Unit conducted a commercial vehicle inspection on Interstate 78 East at milepost 6.3 in Greenwich Township, Warren County, on a tractor-trailer operated by Attiq Ur-Rahman.
During the inspection, it was determined that the tractor-trailer was transporting marijuana. A subsequent search of the trailer led to the seizure of about 8,042.2 pounds of raw hydroponic marijuana, 12,062 pounds of various cannabis/THC products, and 13.4 pounds of psilocybin products. The total weight of the seized contraband was 20,117.6 pounds.
Fnu Attiq Ur-Rahman and Hafeez Rehman Ur were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute psilocybin mushrooms, and possession of psilocybin mushrooms.
