As the overworked saying goes, it's time to "Spring forward."

Daylight Saving Time arrives at 2 a.m. Sunday, which means you need to set you clocks ahead by one hours when you turn in for the night Saturday.

Most of your digital devices, including your electronic logging device, ought to accomplish this on their own. If you are uncertain if your ELD will advance itself by an hours Sunday, check the manual or contact your fleet manager.

Be aware that the time-related regulations -- how much time you drive or rest -- are based on the actual number of hours, and not what the clock shows.
