Truck parking at the eastbound Interstate 80 rest area near Victor, Iowa is closed. beginning today, May 12, according to a statement from the Iowa Department of Transportation.
Crews need to close the truck parking lot so it can be reconstructed. Additional truck parking spots will be added as a part of the project.
The truck parking lot will be reopened to truck traffic in early July, according to IDOT.
The Victor rest area is about 75 miles east of Des Moines
