
A recent trucker convoy raised funds for an organization that aids children battling critical illnesses.
On Saturday, May 10, the Make-A-Wish Mother's Day Truck Convoy returned to Manheim Pennsylvania Auto Auction, its home since 2020, for the 36th annual celebration.
It was a record-breaking day, as a total of 426 trucks participated in this year’s Convoy, the highest number since the event moved to Manheim.
So far, the Mother’s Day Truck Convoy has reached 78% of its $500,000 fundraising goal.
The trucker that raised the most money was Ch+N Site Construction raising $16,238.
The top fundraising team was Hot Shot's Secret, whcih raised $12,510.
Fundraising for the 36th Annual Mother’s Day Truck Convoy continues through Sunday, June 15, and benefits Make-A-Wish of Philadelphia, Delaware and the Susquehanna Valley.
The event, which raises funds to grant life-changing wishes for local children battling critical illnesses, drew thousands of attendees who enjoyed a full day of family-friendly fun including games, food trucks, and live entertainment.
