No injuries were reported from a multi-vehicle accident and dramatic explosion and fire on a Mississippi interstate Sunday, July 27.
Interstate 59 was closed between Evelyn Gandy Parkway (exit 69) and US 49 (exit 67) due to a tractor-trailer catching fire.
WDAM TV reports the tractor-trailer exploded and caught fire at around 1 p.m. while first responders were on scene of the multi-vehicle accident.
The entire incident was captured on a Mississippi Department of Transportation traffic cam.
