DAT offers truckers BBQ in South Dakota
DAT Freight & Analytics will host free Driver Appreciation BBQ events on September 15 and 16 to thank truckers for keeping America moving.

Monday, Sept. 15: Coffee Cup Fuel Stop, Interstate 90 and Highway 11, Exit 406, Brandon, South Dakota, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 16: Coffee Cup Fuel Stop, 1001 S. Western Ave., Hartford, South Dakota 11 a.m. to3 p.m.
DAT invites all professional truck drivers to stop by the Backyard BBQ food truck for a free meal and visit the DAT booth nearby to get swag and also learn more about the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund (SCF). DAT is an SCF sponsor, furthering their mission to help drivers and their families when an illness or injury has caused them to be out of work.

C.H. Robinson announces award winners next week
C.H. Robinson will celebrate the truck drivers and carriers who keep our supply chains moving by presenting its Carrier of the Year Awards during National Truck Dribver Appreciation Week.
During two days of special events in and around Minneapolis for drivers and executives, C.H. Robinson will celebrate its 2025 Carrier of the Year Award winners, whose names will be announced on Wednesday Sept. 17. T
Throughout the week, C.H. Robinson employees across the country will greet drivers and hand out gift boxes, including personal, handwritten thank-you notes. Drivers will be celebrated at the company’s consolidation centers and customer warehouses in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, and Columbus, Ohio.
WEX offers fuel discount
10-4 by WEX is free mobile app developed by WEX, which offers fuel discounts typically reserved for larger trucking enterprises to independent truckers and small trucking companies. App users can claim fuel discounts at thousands of locations nationwide including the 7FLEET Diesel Network (Speedway, Stripes, and 7-Eleven), Circle K, Love's Travel Stops, Sapp Bros., TA, Petro Stopping Centers and TA Express, RaceTrac, and Road Ranger.
Port to provide breakfast, lunch
The Port of Long Beach, California will host a Truck Driver Appreciation event on Tuesday, Sept. 16, to thank drivers for ensuring the safe, secure and timely delivery of cargo containers moving through the harbor.
Free breakfast and lunch will be served at the event, scheduled for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Port of Long Beach Terminal Access Center, 1265 Harbor Ave., Long Beach, 90813. Port-branded gifts will be distributed at the event.
Representatives from the California Air Resources Board will be available to conduct testing on a first-come, first-served basis, and explain requirements for the Clean Truck Check.
Also on hand will be CALSTART representatives to explain how to access funding for purchasing new zero-emissions trucks through the California Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Incentive Project. With funds collected by the San Pedro Bay ports, HVIP offers significant assistance in truck purchases.
Circle K offers free drinks
Circle K Pro will offer another exclusive deal this year as a special “thank you” to all professional drivers.
From Sept.14 through 20, professional truck drivers can access five free drinks from Circle K’s Inner Circle rewards program. Professional drivers can claim the deal by inputting the code DRIVERWEEK25 in the Circle K app under Account > Redeem Code.
Sun Stop offers daily specials
SunStop is celebrating National Truck Driver Appreciation Week with a week-long event recognizing drivers.
At participating SunStop locations, truck drivers can enjoy special combo meals priced at just $4 and $5, featuring a hamburger or hotdog, sweet treat and fountain drink. In addition, SunStop is partnering with Red Bull, Reign, Mars-Wrigley and Celsius to offer daily giveaways exclusively for truck drivers.
