Law enforcement agencies across several states are teaming up for a traffic enforcement detail this weekend as part of the 6-State Trooper Project initiative.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, state police agencies from Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia will join forces to conduct a traffic enforcement detail. The goal is curbing crashes and reducing highway fatalities.
Troopers from each of the six states will increase patrols, looking for violations including speeding, seat belt usage, and impaired driving.
The 6-State Trooper Project is a multi-state partnership among state police agencies that targets specific traffic safety concerns through collaboration and high-visibility patrols.
