Here's your chance to support truck drivers for their actions to help others in need.
Public voting is now open for the Truckload Carriers Association's Highway Angels of the Year.
"Each year, TCA recognizes professional truck drivers whose extraordinary acts of bravery, compassion, and quick thinking make a life-changing difference on our nation’s roadways," said the TCA announcing this year's finalists. "After reviewing the dozens of Angels recognized throughout the year, we have arrived at our top five finalists—and now it’s your turn to help choose the top three to be honored on stage during TCA’s 2026 Annual Convention, Feb. 28–March 3 in Orlando, Florida."
The five finalists are:
- Kevin Olsen, who drives for Truline
- Terry Walde, who drives for Searcy Trucking
- Amity Cataldo, who drives for Boyle Transportation
- Deshown Moye, who drives for Melton Truck Lines
- Heather Barkey, Nussbaum
You can read about thier actions, and cast your vote for the drivers who best embody the spirit of the Highway Angel program.
“One of the most meaningful parts of this program is hearing directly from our members about the incredible things their drivers do when no one is watching. These finalists embody the courage and compassion that define our industry, and we’re excited to invite the public to help us celebrate them.” said TCA VP of Membership Outreach Zander Gambill.
