
Numerous trucks and drivers were placed out of service during and two-day inspection effort in Arizona.
Arizona Highway Patrol State Troopers with the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit conducted three commercial vehicle enforcement details focusing on collision-causing hazardous violations at the McGuireville rest area, Vicksburg, and Casa Grande.
The details produced a total of 65 commercial vehicle inspections, according to the troopers. As a result:
- 225 DVER violations were discovered
- 10 drivers were placed out of service
- 15 vehicles were placed out of service
- 2 commercial vehicle collisions were investigated
