10 drivers, 15 trucks placed out of service during Arizona enforcement

Numerous trucks and drivers were placed out of service during and two-day inspection effort in Arizona.
 
Arizona Highway Patrol State Troopers with the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit conducted three commercial vehicle enforcement details focusing on collision-causing hazardous violations at the McGuireville rest area, Vicksburg, and Casa Grande.
 
The details produced a total of 65 commercial vehicle inspections, according to the troopers.  As a result:
  • 225 DVER violations were discovered
  • 10 drivers were placed out of service 
  • 15 vehicles were placed out of service
  • 2 commercial vehicle collisions  were investigated
