
Troopers in several states plan increased enforcement efforts for threedays on Interstate 75.
The 6-State Trooper Project will focus on speed, safety belt and operating a vehicle while impaired enforcement on Interstate 75.
The three‐day initiative will begin Friday, and continue through Sunday.
The campaign will include Ohio State Police, Kentucky State Police and Michigan State Police. The remaining members of the 6-State Trooper Project, Indiana State Police, Pennsylvania State Police and West Virginia State Police, will not participate due to Interstate 75 being outside their jurisdictions.
The 6-State Trooper Project is a multi-state law enforcement partnership aimed at providing combined and coordinated law enforcement and security services in the areas of highway safety, criminal patrol and information sharing.
