Sharp Transportation Systems
One Canadian trucking company recently acquired another.
Kriska Transportation Group, which is based in Prescott, Ontario, has acquired Sharp Transportation Systems. Based in Cambridge, Ontario, Sharp is known for hauling temperature-controlled freight, moving sensitive medical supplies and furniture throughout Canada and the United States.
Sharp has 29 power units and drivers.
Kriska, before the acquisition, had 187 power units and 180 drivers.
Both companies have cross-border operations between Canada and the U.S.
