Manitoulin Transport, a leading Canadian national less-than-truckload carrier, recently announced the opening of its new terminal in Geraldton, Ontario. Strategically located at 101 1st Street West, the facility expands the company’s northern capabilities to support accelerating regional growth.
With road construction for the Ring of Fire breaking ground five years ahead of schedule, Geraldton has become the operational focal point for Northern Ontario’s development. Manitoulin’s new terminal serves as a critical connection hub, linking the Greenstone region and the Far North directly to Manitoulin’s extensive national network, according to a statement from the company.
As regional mineral exploration and infrastructure projects accelerate, Manitoulin is fully equipped to manage increased volumes, support First Nation-led partnerships, and deliver the essential materials needed to drive Northern development forward efficiently and safely, the company said in a statement.
