Trucker, two others die in crash and fire in Texas

Three people -- including a truck driver -- were killed Monday afternoon in a crash in Fort Bend County, which is west of Houston.

Police say a tractor-trailer struck a car that had run a stop sign. The tractor-trailer then struck another semi, and a box truck hit the car that had run the stop sign. The two tractor-trailers caught fire.

The driver of the first tractor-trailer escaped his truck and was taken by ambulance to a hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The driver of the second semi and the two occupants of the car died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
