Destiny Whitman: Future woman truck driver
Destiny Whitman is 14 years old.
She lives in Port Crane, New York, which alongside I-88 north of Binghamton and south of almost all of the rest of the state.
She plays on her high school softball and volleyball teams, rides horses and works on restoring trucks with her grandfather and her dad, both of whom are truck drivers.
During a conversation at the recent American Truck Historical Society show near Syracuse, Destiny talked about trucks and of becoming the next generation trucker in this family.
