Wisconsin small fleet owner Bill Rethwisch’s 2013 Peterbilt 389 “Blood, Sweat & Gass” and Polar tanker combo continued its dominance on the 2014 show truck circuit this weekend at the year’s final Overdrive‘s Pride & Polish event, picking up Best of Show, Working Combo at the PDI Dyno Event and Truck Show in St. George, Utah.

The truck, along with the three other Best of Show winners from the PDI event, are now qualified to compete in the National Championship judging round at the 2014-2015 Pride & Polish finale at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas next August.

The three other Best of Show winners are:

Best of Show Limited Mileage Combo: Josh Skidmore’s 2007 Peterbilt 379 with 2013 Western Elite stepdeck trailer

Best of Show Working Bobtail: Kenneth Fisher’s 1997 Peterbilt 379

Best of Show Limited Mileage Bobtail: Travis Poulson’s 1998 Peterbilt 379

It’s been just six weeks since Rethwish and his green and white eye-popper were named champs for the entire 2013-2014 Pride & Polish series, taking home the Pride & Polish National Championship in the same overall category the truck competed in this weekend.

Rethwisch also won Best of Show in his first Pride & Polish appearance with the truck in April at the 75 Chrome Shop Show, along with Best of Show in the Shell Rotella SuperRigs show.

He pulled off the same winning theatrics last year with a different truck, winning Best of Show in multiple Pride & Polish events, the Pride & Polish National Championship and Best of Show in the SuperRigs competition.

Skidmore and Fisher have seen victories of late, too, on the Pride & Polish circuit. Skidmore won Best of Show at the 2013 Great American Trucking Show Pride & Polish and Best of Show at last year’s PDI show.

Fisher qualified to compete in the Pride & Polish National Championship in the June-held River States Customz Pride & Polish show.
