The Meritor ChampTruck World Series returns to action for the fourth race of its first season when big rig racing visits the legendary Charlotte Motor Speedway July 2-4.
Several heat races will run throughout the day Friday, July 3. On Saturday, racers celebrate the Fourth of July with the weekend’s featured Podium Race.
About a dozen Class 8 trucks are expected to race.
Minimizer Racing will also be streaming the Charlotte race live online, and is giving away free tickets to the race, while supplies last.
The series next heads to Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Ill., across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, July 17-19.
Admission is $20 for adults for a one-day pass, or $30 for a two-day pass, and children under 15 get in free for both races.
