Volvo Trucks North America takes the wraps off its new VNR regional model Thursday, April 20 at ExpoCam in Montreal, Canada.

“We expect that the VNR’s bold, dynamic appearance will change antiquated perceptions of what trucks should look like,” said Göran Nyberg, president of Volvo Trucks North America.

The new truck is aimed at bulk transport, flatbed, liquid tankers, port drayage and other urban pickup and delivery operations.

Volvo gave a quirky glimpse at what the new truck looks like in two brief videos. In distributing the videos, Volvo said it “… gave some people — all non-actors, most with no association with trucking — a sneak peek. These undirected reactions are inspired purely by the new Volvo VNR’s shape and features.”
