UPS, FedEx win big at South Carolina trucking competition

UPS Freight and FedEx had a successful time at the South Carolina Truck Driving Championships, with the two freight titans taking home top titles in most of the competition’s categories. The competition was held this past weekend in West Columbia, South Carolina.

UPS Freight driver Ronnie Luckadoo walked away with the Grand Champion title after winning first place in the 3-Axle category. Vincent McCue, a driver for FedEx Express, was named Rookie of the Year.

5-Axle: Richard McCoy, C&S Wholesale Services

Flatbed: Steve Newsome, UPS Freight

Sleeper: Ray Shelton, FedEx Freight
