Phoenix police continue to investigate an accident in which the driver of an SUV died when his vehicle slammed into a flatbed trailer parked in an industrial area Wednesday, Feb. 15. Police say the driver was westbound on Jefferson Street following a tractor trailer. When the driver pulled out to pass the truck, he struck the front of the trailer. First responders said the driver was dead at the scene. The driver’s identity has not yet been released.
