A trucker driving through western New York thought his truck was handling a bit rough, but had no idea why until he was stopped by the cops. It seems that Samuel Daniels, 66, of Buffalo took a turn too tightly Saturday morning and hit a fire hydrant, according to the Buffalo News. But, more than that, two large boulders the newspaper said weighed 1,000 lbs. each were wedged under the trailer. City of Tonawanda Police finally stopped him, and it took a heavy duty tow truck to lift his trailer off the boulders. Daniels was ticketed for an improper turn, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to use a truck route, according to the newspaper.
