A Wyoming State Trooper’s dash cam caught a collision between a passing tractor-trailer and his car Monday, Jan. 7. The trooper had stopped on Highway 287 near Rawlins, Wyoming at about 1:40 p.m. local time. While he was assisting a stranded motorist the empty trailer of the passing rig struck the trooper’s car. The trooper was inside his vehicle with his seatbelt fastened and was not injured. The troopers say the Wyoming Department of Transportation had issued an extreme blow over risk for light and high profile vehicles near this area.
