Lots of folks in the trucking industry go out of their way to honor and even hire U.S. military veterans. The owner of a small trucking company in Maine recently went way, way, way out of his way recently to help recognize local vets. Eric Dashiell drove from Maine to Montana and back to pick up a Vietnam War ear A7 Corsair fighter jet and bring it back to be displayed at a veterans memorial in Lewiston, Maine. He has to make another trip to pick up the plane’s wing.
