Two of the trucks toppled by high winds in ColoradoThis has been a tough week for truckers in the West, especially Colorado.
Not only were three tractor-trailers trapped in an avalanche on I-70 Wednesday, but media reports say as many as 16 trucks were blown over on I-25 and other highways in and around Colorado Springs by hurricane-force winds with gusts estimated at 101 mph Monday. The Colorado Department of Transportation issued restrictions for trucks from Monument, Colorado to New Mexico on I-25. Those restrictions were lifted Monday night.
