Unattended pickup truck bursts into flames after being hit by tractor-trailer on Minnesota freeway

An unoccupied pickup truck burst into flames after it was struck by a tractor-trailer on Interstate 35 in Anoka, Minnesota Wednesday, June 1. 

The driver of the pickup reported hit a deer running across the highway. The pickup was rendered inoperable and the driver left it and stood by the side of the highway.

Numerous vehicles passed the stopped pickup successfully but one tractor-trailer did not.  KIt struck the pickup, which spun off the highway and burst into flames.

Police say there were no injuries in the mishap.
