Police in North Carolina have released dramatic bodycam footage showing an officer’s heroic rescue of an unresponsive driver from a burning truck after a fiery crash.
Salisbury Police Department Lt. Corey Brooks pulled the driver from the cab of a truck that crashed under an overpass on Interstate 85 at about 9 p.m. Aug. 8.
Once he got the driver out of the cab, a woman trucker stopped and helped Brooks with the rescue. Shortly after the disabled driver was moved to safety, the truck exploded.
