First responders rescue driver from truck after it drove off of I-35 bridge

First responders made a difficult rescue of the driver whose truck went off the edge of Interstate 35 in Dallas earlier this week, and a local TV crew was on hand to capture it.

The crew was stuck in traffic that backed up when the truck left the interstate but was wedged against another overpass. The driver was trapped inside for an hour as his truck hung above the street below.

The truck had been in an accident with another vehicle before going off the edge of the interstate.

Once the driver was safely removed, crews were able to extract the truck from where it was hanging.
