New Jersey semi-truck driver is in custody after leading 75-mile chase on Interstate 80 in Iowa Tuesday morning, Dec. 3.
Numerous police vehicles were involved in the chase of the bobtail truck, which was being driven cautiously and below the speed limit.
Officers used stop-sticks to flatten the trucks tires, butthe drive continued to flee. Police finally stopped the fleeing trucker at an I-80 weigh station, and used non-lethal gas to force the driver from the truck.
The driver was treated at a nearby hospital and awaits charges.
