Tractor-trailer crashes into Starbucks; driver, employee injured

The driver of a tractor-trailer and an employee were injured when the truck crashed into a Starbucks in Oceanside, California in the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 7.

Authorities says the rig exited California State Route at about 4:40 a.m., crashed through a brick wall and then through the side of a Starbucks.

The trucker and the Starbucks employee were taken to a local hospital.

Oceanside is located about 38 miles noth of San Diego and near the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base.

Oceanside Police contoinuie their investigation.
