The Alabama Trucking Association is giving its National Truck Driver Appreciation Week celebration a musical twist.
The association has produced a new musical single in honor of truck drivers. "Highway Dreaming" is song featuring Heroes of the Highway and three Alabama county performers, the Sweet Tea Trio. It was recorded at Cypress Moon Studios, the former iconic Muscle Shoals Sound Studio.
Sweet Tea Trio includes Kate Falcon, Taylor Morrison and Savannah Sawyer.
There is plenty of other news for Truck Driver Appreciation Week. Major truck stop chains are offering special promotions for professional drivers.
Month-long recognition at Love's
For the rest of September, professional drivers can visit Love’s locations to redeem offers through the company's loyalty program, My Love Rewards and on the Love’s Connect App.
Among Truck Driver Appreciation promotions are:

RaceTrac is celebrating throughout the rest month of this month. Professional drivers registered in RaceTrac’s Rewards program and RaceTrac app will receive exclusive discounts, bonus loyalty points and free food items at its travel centers and high-flow diesel stores.
RaceTrac’s Truck Driver Appreciation Month promotions include:
- One free pizza slice per week
- One free fountain drink per week
