The winter edition of RoadPro’s Truckers’ Gear Guide, now available online including at Truckers News and Overdrive, is loaded with information, tips, and recipes to help you stay comfortable and connected while on the winter roads.

Especially helpful are articles that explain:

  • How to make sure your truck is winter-worthy. Members of RoadPro’s Pro Driver Council call on their many years of experience to help you be ready for all sorts of winter weather and driving conditions.
  • How to say healthy while driving. The start of a new year is always a good time to start a wellness routine. The Gear Guide includes tips from veteran driver and fitness enthusiast Jeff Clark on incorporating exercise into your daily driving routine.
  • How drivers eat well when on the road. RoadPro surveyed drivers about what and how they eat while going about their work. More than 80 percent said they do some cooking in their truck to save money, eat healthfully and for the sake of convenience.
  • How one accessory can make a difference for professional drivers. A power inverter converts your truck’s battery power to household current so you can use any number of appliances to improve your driving life.

And, of course, the guide is loaded with the newest gear available to keep you safe, comfortable and connected on the road.

The Truckers’ Gear Guide also has details of RoadPro’s Gear for the Year sweepstakes, which allows one lucky driver to win a piece of truck gear from top brands each month with a grand prize winner selected in December that will win the entire gear package from each of the 12 months.
