Tackling one of the best-known stories of the Bible is no small task. This retelling of Noah (Russell Crowe) and the ark he builds takes some liberties with the original and fills the two-hour-plus film with loads of special effects. It also stars Jennifer Connelly as Naameh, Noah’s wife, and Anthony Hopkins as Methuselah. Emma Watson (Hermione of Harry Potter fame) also stars. Directed by Darren Aronofsky.
