Milla Jovovich polishes her action hero credentials in “Survivor.”
Kate Abbott (played by Milla Jovovich) is in charge of security at the U.S. embassy in London when she gets framed for a restaurant bombing in which she was the target of terrorists. Hunted by the bad guys (chiefly Pierce Brosnan as the hit man named Watchmaker) who want to finish the job and by U.S. authorities who believe she has gone over to the other side. While it may not be the most original plot, this flick moves it along with the benefit of a solid cast. Joining Jovovich and Brosnan in this thriller are Dylan McDermott and Angela Bassett.
