The only driver to have appeared on all 10 seasons of the hit cable TV reality show, “Ice Road Truckers,” is now producing videos on his own.
Alex Debogorski has launched a page on Connectpal, and is posting videos about aspects of his life other than driving the (mostly) frozen roads of northern Canada. For $4.99 a month, here’s what you get, according to his profile page:
- “Discover the real Alex Debogorski uncut and in the raw
- “Webisode mini series of Alex during his travels while not filming Ice Road Truckers
- “Meet Alex’s family (he has 11 children and 14 grandchildren and counting!)
- “Interviews with Alex and Alex’s buddies
- “Unpublished stories that didn’t make Alex’s book ‘King of The Road'”
(The current episode of “Ice Road Truckers” airs tonight, Thursday, Sept. 22, at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central on the History Channel.)
Earlier this month Debogorski posted this on his Facebook page:
“I have been hearing from a lot of my fans that they want to see more of me on the IRT show. I am wondering if I produced a on demand option, available online, to show you more of what Alex Debogorski is all about who would be interested. Like and comment if you have an opinion.”
People liked the idea and had plenty of encouraging opinions. His series of videos on Conenctpal launched.
The Debogorski posted this:
“Hello to all my great fans! So a few days ago I asked you guys if you would be interested in seeing more of me and I got a big response! So based on your suggestions I came up with a plan to make it happen. I have recruited two of my sons to help with the project and will be sharing more information about it soon! Stay tuned!”
