Who could have guessed that a mathematics professor from a Canadian university could help make your cross-country travels a bit more interesting?
Professor William Cook has created an interactive map that provides details to almost 50,000 places in the U.S. listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
But, that’s not all. Cook charted a 217,605-mile route to follow if you wish to visit all 49,603 points of interest.
True, you don’t always have a lot of time to sightsee while driving, but this map might come in handy if you find yourself with some downtime and nothing else to do.
