A posthumous box set is coming from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Titled “An American Treasure,” the four-CD box set will contain previously unreleased material.

According to SiriusXM, the box set features 60 tracks and will contain unreleased live recordings, studio recordings, deep cuts, and alternate versions of some of Petty’s most popular songs. The material was selected in part by Petty’s daughter and wife as well as Benmont Tench, Mike Campbell and Ryan Ulyate.

A two-CD box set will also be released at a lower price. The box set release will be the first posthumous album of Petty’s work. Petty died in October.

The box set is due out Sept. 28. It is available for pre-order on Amazon and iTunes.
