A company driver is $5,000 richer thanks to his fleet’s recruitment program.
Averitt Express driver Brad Rogers was awarded $5,000 by the company as part of the company’s driver referral program.
Rogers, of Shreveport, Louisiana, won the award through Averitt’s Cash In 2016 program, a part of the company’s Referral Rewards effort, which pays drivers up to $1,500 for referrals that lead to a hire.
Averitt’s Referral Rewards Cash In 2016 program includes three rounds of vacation packages and cash prize drawings before the year-end prize of $10,000 for two drivers.
“It’s amazing to win this prize,” Rogers said. “Winning $5,000 put a nice spring in my step. I already think very highly of Averitt, and the fact that we have a program like this, it’s great.”
