A family-owned carrier based in Wisconsin today announced it is opening a new terminal in Minnesota.
Sutton Transport, which is based in Weston, Wisconsin, is expanding its direct service area to include Minnesota through a terminal located in Maple Grove, which is about 17 miles northwest of the Twin Cities.
This expansion will help ensure Sutton’s mission of being the most efficient and reliable transportation network in the Midwest, according to a statement from the company. As part of the expansion, Sutton Transport will be adding 26 employees. The terminal is located at 10001 89th Ave. NW in Maple Grove.
Sutton Transport is a family-owned business operating for more than 40 years, with seven terminals in Wisconsin, Illinois and now Minnesota. The company provides regional and national less-than-truckload service, truckload, and logistics services.
