The Great American Trucking Show hosts a Fit for the Road 5K Charity Run/Walk to help promote a healthy lifestyle for truckers and a good cause at the show to be held in Dallas Aug. 27-29.
The walk/run will be start at 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29.
There’ll be an award ceremony at the end, with medals awarded for various categories.
Online registration will be open soon, or you can sign-up on site at the GATS Show Info desk.
Registration is $30 prior to the morning of the event and $40 on-site, with the proceeds going to charity. Included with your registration, participants will receive a pre-race packet which includes:
- GATS Fit for the Road 5K Walk/Run T-shirt (Men’s and Women’s sizes available)
- Runners bib with built-in timer
- Information on the Fit for the Road Health & Wellness Pavilion
