Cold and flu season is in full swing and there’s no better comfort food than homemade chicken noodle soup.
After about 15 minutes of prep time and seven hours in a slow cooker, you’ll have a hearty soup to warm you up on cold days or days you’re feeling unwell. This recipe has all the staples of a good chicken noodle soup: carrots, onion, celery, garlic, chicken, thyme, rosemary, celery seed and bay leaves.
If that’s not already enough flavor for you, the recipe also calls for adding parsley and lemon juice.
This recipe yields 4-5 servings.
