Deadline Friday for ‘Driver of the Year’ Nominations

Nominations for the Truckload Carrier Association’s (TCA) driver of the year awards close on Friday, Oct. 31. To make a nomination and see the contest’s eligibility rules, visit the TCA’s site for entries.

Last year’s Company Driver of the Year was Jack Fielding, who has driven for Bison Transport in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada for more than 16 years.

The awards will be presented at the TCA’s annual meeting March 8-11 at Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee, Fla.

TCA is the only national trade association focused on the truckload segment of the motor carrier industry. The association represents dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, intermodal container and end-dump carriers operating in the 48 contiguous states, Alaska, Mexico and Canada.
