Some call it falsification of the driver’s logbook.
Others say it is his right to express his religious beliefs.Whatever it is, listing “Jesus” as his co-driver in his logbook got a Texas trucker fired.
KRGV-T V in the Rio Grande Valley reports that Ramiro Olivarez was fired for writing in “Jesus” as his co-driver his logbook. The company he worked for said he submitted incomplete documentation and falsified legal documents.
While in the job market, Olivarez is asking other drivers to take a stand and write in “Jesus” as their co-driver.
“I strongly encourage you to put Jesus as your co-driver. Let’s make a stand,” he said.
