A&R Logistics has moved into a new three-acre terminal facility in Philadelphia.
The terminal, located at 4301 Delaware Ave., is 50 percent larger than the old facility with a 12,000 square foot building and three acres of parking.
The new terminal has undergone more than $700,000 in upgrades prior to move-in. The upgrades included two new tank wash bays, two truck maintenance bays, new office space and driver break room, as well as a new resurfaced parking lot with additional parking spaces.
A&R Logistics, which is based in Louisville, transports plastic resins and granulated plastic powder for Philadelphia-area customers in the petrochemical, automotive and pharmaceutical industries. Nationwide, A&R Logistics owns 23 terminals, 1700 rail spots and a total of 10 warehouses with more than 1.8 million square feet of warehouse space.
