A major Minnesota-based trucking company recently aided driver pay for the second time this year.

Bay & Bay Transportation, which is located in Rosemount, Minn., said the new pay raise brings driver base pay range to 41 to 45 cents per mile, depending on length of tenure with previous companies. Drivers will also be able to earn an additional 1-4 cents per mile in bonuses, depending on experience.

“Bay & Bay is continually evaluating its driver compensation package,” said Aaron Thompson, executive vice president of Bay & Bay.  “This second enhancement reflects evolving market conditions and ensures competitive pay for our drivers. We are committed to being the employer-of-choice for professional drivers.”

The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) and Carriers Edge recently named Bay & Bay as one of the 2015 Best Fleets to Drive For.

Bay & Bay’s services include refrigerated, dry van, dry tank, flatbed/specialty, intermodal and less than truckload (LTL).

Bay & Bay said it also offers its drivers a $0-down lease purchase program, an average of 2,500-3,300 miles per week, in-cab scanning, state-of-the-art equipment, full medical and dental benefits after 60 days, and numerous bonus opportunities.
