Want a chance to win $2,000 and a year’s worth of pork rinds?

Rudolph Foods, the Lima, Ohio-base maker of pork rinds and other snack foods, is once again celebrating National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, which this year is Sept. 13-19.

The company is commemorating the spirit of the American truck driver with a six-week campaign that begins July 27. Rudolph Foods plans to recognize truck drivers at their plants country-wide, and invites consumers and truck drivers alike to play an online game for a chance to win $2,000 and a year’s supply of pork rinds.

The campaign is supported by brands that include Rudolph’s, Southern Recipe, Pepe’s and Lee’s Pig Skins. Details of the campaign can be found online at PorkRinds.com or TruckDriverAppreciation.com.

The online game asks players to fill the bed of their truck with pork rinds while being careful not to overfill or under-fill it. All the while, players will be reminded of the important role truck drivers play in delivering America’s food, coast to coast.

Each time some plays the game they’re player is entered to win the grand prize at the end of the contest. At the conclusion of the contest, one Rudolph Foods fan or truck driver will win a $2,000 cash prize and a year’s supply of pork rinds. One runner-up will win a year’s supply of pork rinds.

“We salute these men and women who are at the very foundation of our company and our dinner tables,” said Mark Singleton, vice president of Sales and Marketing at Rudolph Foods. “Hosting a contest for consumers to show their appreciation for truck drivers everywhere is our way of saying thank you, while driving some much needed attention to this hard-working segment of our population,”
