Love’s Travel Stops has completed installations of their full-service tire inflation system, TirePass.

The system is available at more than 200 locations.

The TirePass technology detects potential tire- and wheel-related problems before they occur, according to a statement from Love’s Travel Stops.

“TirePass is a solution Love’s provides to save our customers on their cost per mile,” said Dan Jensen, director of tire sales and service for Love’s. “Under inflated tires and uneven tread wear can decrease fuel efficiency and lead to dangerous situations. Customers have been pleased with how fast our trained technicians can perform this critical piece of preventative maintenance and we’re happy to offer it to more drivers.”

TirePass can automatically inflate tires to the desired pressure. As a driver fuels, a Love’s technician proceeds to hook up the truck and trailer tires to the automatic inflators in the designated TirePass fueling lane. The tires are then inflated and the tread depth and pressure are measured and recorded.

According to Love’s, fleet managers can receive immediate notification if a major problem is detected by the TirePass system. Drivers are also able to receive immediate reports showing the statues of their tires.
