The search is on for the best companies to drive for.
The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) and CarriersEdge encourage truck drivers to nominate their companies for the Best Fleets to Drive For annual contest and survey. Nominations are open now through Oct. 31 and may be made online.
Nominations are open through Oct. 312 for the Best Fleet To Drive For AwardDrivers are urged to make nominations based on things about the company’s culture that he/she likes, including:
- compensation
- safety practices
- benefits
- equipment
- training
If the company accepts the nomination and agrees to participate, the survey then digs deeper into its policies and practices, according to organizers.
To be eligible, a for-hire fleet must have 10 or more trucks and operate in the U.S. or Canada. TCA membership is not required.
The top 20 finishers will be identified as Best Fleets to Drive For and will be announced in January. From this pool, companies will then be divided into both “small” and “large” categories, and two overall winners will be recognized March 6-9 at the TCA convention in Las Vegas.
