September drivers of the month selected by Decker Truck Line

Decker Truck Line, Inc. recently announced its drivers of the month for September, and they are that
Steve Swenson, Steven Conley, Dale Hendry, Timothy Moore and Charles Myers.

Swenson won for the Ft. Dodge/Ft. Wayne Reefer/Van Division. He was nominated by his fleet manager, Diane Turner, who said, “Steve always leaves home to make his deliveries on time. He doesn’t complain and is always respectful and polite. Steve is a pleasure to work with.” Swenson has driven with Decker for 22 years.

Conley won for the Missoula Reefer/Van Division. He was nominated by his fleet manager, Jillian Moore, who said, “Steven is a hard worker that is willing to do anything that is asked of him. He is great at HOS and always gets the job done safely and effectively. Steven is great to work with.” Conley has driven with Decker for 2 1/2 years.

Hendry won for the LeMars Reefer/Van Division. He was nominated by his fleet manager, Adam Frederick, who said, “Dale continues to work hard for Decker. He will always help when he can to make sure loads are covered and makes OTD. His positive attitude and easy going nature makes working with him enjoyable.” Hendry has driven with Decker for 4 months.

Myers won for the Ft. Dodge/Hammond Flatbed Division. He was nominated by his fleet manager, Andrew Freybler, who said, “Charles is very flexible with dispatch and has no problems getting home late on weekends. He never has any issues with his dispatch and will always help out when needed.” Myers has driven with Decker for 2 1/2 years.

Moore won for the Bessemer Flatbed Division. He was nominated by his fleet manager, Tina Cunningham, who said, “Tim does a great job. He makes sure to be very prompt to deliveries. Tim always makes sure we know when he will have to idle. Good driver.” Moore has driven with Decker for 6 months.

In addition to winning a Decker gift certificate, each of these drivers will now be eligible to compete for driver/owner-operator of the year. This year-end recognition of one driver from each division brings a 1-cent-per-mile pay increase for 12 months.
